Artuso Legnami srl Caselle di Altivole, in Treviso, was founded in 1989 as a sole proprietorship under the name of the owner, Maurizio Artuso, who has been working in the wood industry as an employee of a local company dedicated to building frames and furniture.

After the experience in the field, Artuso evaluates the opportunity to start his own business; hence, the Artuso Maurizio Carpentry.

Initially, the company deals with the construction of windows and wooden furniture, but the sector is quite saturated and increasingly fierce competition; it's time to diversify, to try something new.
The company then began to deal in parallel with a new task: that of wood roofs.

In the construction industry it is emerging in those years more and more a change of construction techniques, in particular is changing the type of coverage of homes: from concrete to wooden beams and planks. It promises therefore the possibility of entering into the insurance sector and wooden floors and the company, among the first in the industry, he believes in this constructive evolution.

This change of product also requires a radical integration and replacement of machines, in addition to training of specialized personnel for the processing and the production of quality products. Before long, the company arranges for the design, delivery and assembly of wooden covers, with computerized numerical control equipment, and the creation of a technical office supported by hardware and latest generation software.

Since 2010 Artuso Timber produces at its plant systems to the construction of facilities for all types of wood-based PANELS X-LAM (CROSS LAMINATED TIMBER) CE certified by the Austrian competence Holzcert and buy semi fir beams ready to be cut, refine and provide on-site on a commission for the construction of floors and roofs in wood CE certified.
